The angle of view calculator finds the focal length required to capture a given angle of view (in degrees) in a given film format. Simply enter the angle of view required and film format into the appropriate boxes and click on Calculate to see the results.

Focal Length Converter

The focal length converter is a tool used to compare the equivalent focal length of lenses between various different film or CCD sensor sizes. Since the aspect ratio of each film type is potentially different four results are given; width, height, diagonal and the average of the results.
